On January 18, 2008, the Mystery Writers of America named Relentless Pursuit as one of five nominees for its prestigious Edgar Allen Poe Award in the category of "fact crime." The Edgar Awards honor the best in mystery fiction, non-fiction, television and film published or produced in 2007.
The nomination of "Relentless Pursuit" followed a months-long selection process in whichover 60 books qualifying in the category -- including works by bestselling authors such as Ann Rule and Joe McGinniss -- were submitted for consideration by publishers.
