From the May 11, 2007 edition of the Denver Post:

"Ten years after a horrific double murder, earnest and committed Kevin Flynn, a 36 year-old Washington, D.C., assistant district attorney, has written a book describing his biggest and most memorable case. Writing a nonfiction book that reads like a novel is no small feat. Flynn, however, manages to bring tension and suspense to a story that is not so much a whodunit as a 'how do we prove he did it and not let him get away with murder' ...

" ... Flynn leads readers though the thoughts, questions and process employed by a prosecutor in the pursuit of a killer. During the investigative steps, he takes the readers along for a tough ride. He visits the crime scene with a technician and discovers how and in what order Diane and Katrina died. Readers witness the crime tech utilizing blood splatters and physical evidence to reconstruct the crime. This is made even more fascinating by the wildly popular CSI television franchise.

"But here there is no glossing over the grim facts, no quick turnaround of much needed forensic tests. Then Flynn goes into his thought process: how to build the case, ask the right questions, etc. He even goes to the FBI Behavioral Science Unit to consult on the crime and try to understand the killer and his motive. Flynn is singleminded in his pursuit of the killer.

"Flynn uses gentle humor that is mostly self-directed, and his prose is straightforward, meticulously detailed. Relentless Pursuit is a dense and satisfying read, educating as well as entertaining, even in the light of a horrible crime."
